Hours After Congress Agrees On Stimulus Bill – Millions For Pelosi’s Pet Projects Are Found

It looks like Congress has finally agreed on a bipartisan stimulus package. But wait a second!

Even Pelosi is suggesting that the House will approve it.

Hmm… I wonder why? Just a few days ago, Pelosi was sabotaging efforts to put checks into American hands.
Hours After Congress Agrees On Stimulus Bill – Millions For Pelosi’s Pet Projects Are Found
But now she’s onboard?

Maybe it’s because she got some of her pet projects funded after all.

From Fox News:

The appropriations text, released Wednesday along with the draft bill itself, includes $25 million in funding for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts…

The Senate bill also provides $75 million to each the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Wow. Even during a time of crisis, Democrats scheme to get their way.

The latest version of the emergency relief bill includes millions for the JFK Center and other art-related foundations.

Umm… why?

I’m not against providing some funding for art centers. But we’re dealing with a big problem. This coronavirus crackdown has put many Americans out of work.

The goal should be containing and treating the disease and getting America back to work as quickly as possible.

So, why are Democrats prioritizing millions to unrelated issues? Will funding the NEA help save lives?

Will giving a whopping $75 million to the NEH prevent the spread of COVID-19? Will, it put food on hurting Americans’ tables?

Or create more respirators?

Why not table all of that and focus on what America really needs?

Workers are suffering, but the Democrats want to give millions of our money to the rich elite. Typical.
